I am starting this blog as a project for my Digital Photography course. Over the course of the next month I will be posting in response to prompts as well as sharing my photography and thoughts on random subjects. But to begin, I'd like to tell you a little about me!

My name is Cat and I am a born and bred Michigander. I have lived in Grand Rapids, MI my whole life up until August 2019 where I took a leap of faith and moved to Nashville, TN to pursue higher education. I am now a student at Belmont University primarily studying international politics and Spanish, with a minor in French... However, I have a passion for photography and spend most of my free time thinking about such. I would like to potentially pursue a future "side hustle" as a photographer, while hopefully also working as a political interpreter.

Some fun facts about me: I am OBSESSED with ducks and big dogs, I am a huge geek (I love Doctor Who, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Star Wars, etc.), I have spoken Spanish for upwards of 13 years, my favorite color is red, mountains are my happy place, I'm an only child, and I have an 8 year old Golden Retriever named Lambeau who I adore. I have always wanted to live on the West Coast and hope to do so once my time at Belmont has ceased. I am all about trying new things and expanding my knowledge, and I hope this blog will inspire you to do the same!
